Overshort definition?

@SemperBlotto: Shouldn't the definition read something like "numerically less than a maximum or more than a minimum"? Surely something numerically smaller than a minimum would be more extremely minimal than that minimum (if such a thing were possible)… — I.S.M.E.T.A. 16:24, 16 July 2015 (UTC)

No. -6 is numerically less than -7 because the number part (6) is less than (7). At least, that's my understanding. SemperBlotto (talk) 22:27, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
