BBC origin debunked?[edit]

[I have removed my Talk note suggesting that the origin of "tired and emotional" was the BBC's explanation of the apparently drunken live commentary on the Coronation Naval Review off Spithead in May 1937 by Lt Cmdr (ret'd) Thomas Woodrooffe, since the BBC archives have no record of this, either in (incomplete) records of their own output or in the several newspaper cuttings they have kept of the event.] — This comment was unsigned.
