I clarified that trendy is a bad thing. It is mistakenly used as a good thing.
This definition is missing a list of acceptable forms of the word. Obviously trendy is a form of trend, but not all forms of trend are applicable to this definition.
Some forms of trendy that do apply to this defininition are:

- trendiest
