Serbo-Croatian - 'titmouse'

[edit]

ЭССЯ and Derksen's Slavic dictionary claim the SC meaning is titmouse (Parus pendulinus L.), without even mentioning oriole (despite nearly all other Slav. langs having the former meaning). I have no idea how this was concluded, it disagrees with all relevant SC dictionaries that I've checked, including JAZU dictionary which ЭССЯ quotes. If anyone knows of a proper SC source that would confirm it could also mean titmouse, it would be great, otherwise this looks like a mistake on ЭССЯ's part. — Phazd (talk|contribs) 19:58, 26 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I correct myself. The meaning titmouse is confirmed by Rečnik SANU and Benčić (Hvar), although both of them also mention oriole. — Phazd (talk|contribs) 23:15, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
