Pronunciation[edit]

In my experience, the word is very often pronounced so as to be a homonym of "wear," and not just locally (New York, in my case). I've yet to see this variant recognized. Certainly, it does not reflect the pronunciation of the words it combines, but neither do the pronunciations of "don't" and "won't." Kostaki mou (talk) 04:16, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
