Spelling

{{R:UESz}}, in many places with German glosses, which relies on lots of sources, most probably on this above as well.

@Einstein2 I've checked the most recent (2017) print version of Magyar helyesírási szótár and it has zilíz just like OH., so there seems to be no more doubt about its spelling anymore. The online version might have a typo. (?) The dictionary of plant names has the long version too, according to a reference here on page 49, which happens to also refer to (probably) an earlier version of AkH., contradicting the former plant name dictionary with its short i. Also, there was a related discussion on Wikipedia.
On the other hand, I don't really know what to do with the list of differences because a new edition of MHSz. has since been published and I seem to recall that several differences have been resolved. Adam78 (talk) 22:37, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Adam78 Thank you for looking into it! Perhaps I will move the main form to zilíz and leave ziliz as an altform(?).
- Regarding the difference list, I am not sure what the best solution would be. I think there is value in preserving the forms of the old MHSz. edition, and perhaps a new column could be added to the tables with the new MHSz. spellings. Then again, if a new edition of OH is published in the next few years (in line with AkH.12), it can complicate things further. Einstein2 (talk) 23:07, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
