A hydronym, attested in the 15th century as Tamuja. A suffixed form from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 1 should be a valid language code; the value "qfa-sub-ibe" is not valid. See WT:LOL., probably from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Celtic, from Proto-Indo-European *temH- (dark); or alternatively from Proto-Celtic *tā-[1], *tāyo- (to melt, flow), from Proto-Indo-European *teh₂- (to melt).[2] See also Thames.
