This template is used in the File namespace to indicate that a file is subject to a BSD license (selected using the parameters). It is implemented using {{ombox}}.
Parameters[edit]
|1=(optional)- Indicates which BSD license to display.
- 2 displays the 2-clause license (a.k.a. the Simplified BSD license).
- 3 displays the 3-clause license (a.k.a. the BSD License 2.0).
- 4 displays the 4-clause license (the original "BSD license).
- Defaults to 3.
|owner=(optional)- The copyright holder. Defaults to generic phrasing such as "the uploader" or "the copyright holder".
|year=(optional)- The year of the copyright. Omitted if not given.
|organization=
The organization mentioned in clauses 3 and 4. Ignored if |1=2. Defaults to the value of |owner=. If the 4-clause license is chosen (|1=4), then at least one of |owner= and |organization= must be given.
