6. Compounding Rules in U.S. Government Printing Office Style Manual, govinfo.gov


Used to reference the Compounding Rules chapter of the GPO style manual.

Seems to be best fitting for the more special cases such as anti-inflation (double i), pro-American (capital A) and Colorado-like (the base is a proper name). It is also fit for prefix entries. Using it in all prefixed and suffixed word entries to indicate GPO prefers no hyphens where applicable seems unnecessary.
