Usage

This template may be used in "References" and "Further reading" sections, and on talk pages, to cite editions of the Juba to Jive: A Dictionary of African-American Slang.

Parameters

The template takes the following positional or named parameters:

  • |entry= – the entry in the dictionary to be cited.
  • |page= - the page in the dictionary to be cited.
    • For multiple pages use |pages= and separate the first and last pages of the range with an en dash, like this: |pages=110–111.
    • For multiple pages you must also use |pageref= to specify the page number that the template should link to (usually the page on which the Wiktionary entry appears).
  • |passage= – a passage of the dictionary to quote.
  • |chapter= - the chapter of the dictionary where the referenced pages belong, such as the "Introduction".
