Usage

This template may be used in "References" and "Further reading" sections, and on talk pages, for providing a link to OneLook.com, which contains links to many other online reference works, especially dictionaries and specialized glossaries.

Parameters

The template takes the following parameters:

• |1= or |entry= – the name of the entry on the website. If this parameter is omitted, the name of the Wiktionary entry is used as a default.
• |nodot= – by default, the template adds a full stop (period) at the end of the citation. To suppress this punctuation, use |nodot=1 or |nodot=yes.

Examples

• Wikitext:
  • {{R:OneLook|entry=dictionary}}; or
  • {{R:OneLook|dictionary}}; or
  • {{R:OneLook}} (if used in the dictionary entry)
• Result: “dictionary”, in OneLook Dictionary Search.
