Usage

This template may be used on Wiktionary entry pages to quote John Gay's work The Distress'd Wife (1st edition, 1743). It can be used to create a link to an online version of the work at Google Books.

Parameters

The template takes the following parameters:

• |1= or |scene= – mandatory: the scene number quoted from in lowercase Roman numerals.
