This template is to be used to categorise Amharic terms by root. It has the following parameters:

|1= The root, the consonants of which should be separated by hyphens
|2=, |3=, |4= (optional) Additional roots, if applicable
|tr= The transliteration of the root, if needed
|tr2=, |tr3=, |tr4= (optional) Additional transliterations of roots, if applicable
