Placed at the top of archived discussions to indicate that no further messages should be added to them and to give related links. As of 2023, all uses of this template are from 2010 or earlier. Its default link structures seem to be designed for Wiktionary's old (2006) RFD archives on RFD subpages.

Parameters

|1= (required)

The date on which the archive was created. This date is just displayed directly, so it can be in any format and have any level of precision. (For example a month can be specified rather than a particular day.)

|2= (optional)

If given, this is used as both the link to current related discussion and the link to the index of related archives. The link to current discussion defaults to ../../../, but the one to the archive index defaults to ../../.
