This template is used in appendices for dictionary-only terms to format information for one term into a table row. It must be manually enclosed by markup to open and close the table.
Parameters
[edit]If any parameter is omitted it results in an empty cell in the table row generated.
|word=
(optional)- The dictionary-only term.
|pos=
(optional)- The part of speech of the term.
|etymology=
(optional)- The etymology of the term.
|definition=
(optional)- The definition of the term.
|dictionaries=
(optional)- A list of dictionaries that include the term.
|attestation=
(optional)- The number of known recorded uses of the term (outside of dictionaries). Conventionally if this number is not zero it should be a link to the Citations page for the term, listing each use (but this template does not create this link for you).
