Template:egy-hieroforms/documentation

Use this template to list alternative forms (and particularly alternative hieroglyphic writings) of Egyptian words. If the table of forms gets too long, add a second template.

This template uses Module:egy-utilities.

Parameters

|1=, |2=, etc.

Alternative hieroglyphic writings, each one enclosed in WikiHiero tags (<hiero></hiero>).

|read1=, |read2=, etc.

The readings/transliterations of the respective alternative hieroglyphic writings.

|date1=, |date2=, etc.

The time periods in which the respective alternative hieroglyphic writings were in use.

|note1=, |note2=, etc.

Notes on the respective alternative hieroglyphic writings.

|title=

A title to use instead of the default “Alternative hieroglyphic writings of …”.

|head=

An entry name to use in the title instead of the default page name. Overridden if title is given a value.
