This template automatically converts Hawaiian words into their IPA pronunciation, using Module:haw-IPA. It displays both phonemic and phonetic pronunciations, when the latter is different. It also shows rapid speech alternatives for /aw/ and /aj/.

Parameters[edit]

|1=
The word that should be converted. It is set to {{PAGENAME}} by default. Required when dealing with compound words, where + is used to mark the separation between boundaries.
