Template:he-excessive spelling of/documentation

Usage

This templates generates definition lines for Hebrew excessive spellings; that is, spellings that include yuds and/or vavs that indicate vowel sounds. Modern texts commonly use defective spellings.

Use of the template categorizes an entry in Category:Hebrew excessive spellings.

Parameters

• |1=: mandatory: the standard-spelled term
• |wv=: optional: the same, with vowels
• |nocap=: optional: if non-blank, don't capitalize the first letter

Examples
