is-verb-weak (weak verb)

This is a template for weak verbs in Icelandic, including their principal parts (kennimyndir).

  • E.g. for segja (to say):
{{is-verb-weak|sagði|sagt}}, where the first parameter is the third person singular past indicative form sagði ([he/she/it] said) and the second parameter is the supine; sagt (said)
  • You can go to Beygingarlýsing íslensks nútímamáls and if it says veik beyging (“weak declension”) choose “3.pers, Et., Þátíð and Framsöguháttur” for the first argument and “Germynd, Sagnbót” for the second one.
