Uses Lua:
This is the standard inflection template for Malayalam common nouns. For the standard inflection template for Malayalam proper nouns see {{ml-proper noun}}.
Parameters
|head=- Overrides the headword display. The headword display defaults to the page name if not otherwise specified.
|sort=- The way the term should be categorized. This parameter resorts to the page name by default. This parameter should not be used unless unorthodox characters, such as foreign scripts, are included in the term, which would otherwise disrupt regular alphabetical categorization.
|sc=- The script the entry is written in. Defaults to Malayalam (Mlym). This should not be used unless the term is written in a foreign script.
|g=- The grammatical gender of the term. This parameter is empty by default. Most Malayalam terms are genderless, so this parameter is almost always unnecessary.
|g2=- Second possible grammatical gender. Adds another gender to the one expressed in
|g=. |tr=- Manual transliteration of the term. Transliteration is encoded by default, so this parameter is usually unnecessary.
