{{rfap}} is used for a request for audio pronunciation, i.e. to request that an audio file be added to an entry.

Usage

This template should be used on an entry page under the ===Pronunciation=== header.

Parameters

|1= (required): The language code of the term needing audio pronunciation. See Wiktionary:List of languages.
|2=: An optional comment to be displayed in the request message.
|inline=1: Display the message inline instead of in a box.
|variety=: An optional language variety, such as UK or US, for categorization purposes (see below).
|sort=: The sort key for the page; rarely needs to be specified.
|nocat=1: Disable categorization of this page.

This template adds the page to the following categories (where LANG is the language whose code is specified using |1=):

Category:Requests for audio pronunciation in LANG entries
Category:Requests for audio pronunciation from VARIETY in LANG entries (if |variety= is given)
Category:rfap with variety (if |variety= is given; applies to all namespaces)
