Usage

Use this template in the definition line of a word to request a clarification if the gloss is ambiguous or otherwise underspecified. The only required parameter is the language code, e.g.:

• {{rfclarify|en}} (if used in an English section)

Parameters

|1= (required)

The language code of the term needing cleanup. See Wiktionary:List of languages.

|2= (optional)

An optional comment.

|sort=

The sort key for the page; rarely needs to be specified.

|nocat=1

Disable categorization of this page.

This template adds the page to the subcategory of Category:Requests for clarification of definitions by language designated by the language code specifed using |1=.
