Usage
[edit]This is used to attempt to ease finding dates and other missing information for quotes. It is related to {{rfquotek}}, used to ease finding citations and references for definitions (originally those copied from Webster 1913). It displays a maintenance line and adds the page to relevant categories as outlined below.

Parameters
[edit]|1=(required)- The language code of the term in question. See Wiktionary:List of languages.
|2=(required)- The name of the author or work or both.
|sort=- The sort key for the page; rarely needs to be specified.
|nocat=1- Disable categorization of this page.
This template adds the page to the "Category:Requests for date in LANG entries" category, one of the subcategories of Category:Requests for date by language.
