Uncertain

This template is used in etymology sections, for terms whose origin is uncertain. It is used for terms whose etymology is discussed in reputable sources and for which possible hypotheses have been identified, but they cannot be established with any certainty. When no hypotheses are identified, {{unk}} is used instead. It is not used if the uncertainty lies in the editor's personal knowledge, for which {{rfe}} or {{etystub}} are used.
