Generates IPA pronunciations for Votic words.
By default, the word is generated from the page title. However, respellings can be supplied by passing in numbered parameters, and must be provided in these cases:
- With reduced vowels. The respelling must not reduce any vowels, so tullõ must be respelled as tulla.
- With secondary gemination. The respelling should not include secondary gemination, so ajja must be respelled as ajaa (note also the long vowel).
- With compounds; use - to separate compound parts.
- With unusual stresses; use * before the syllable with primary stress.
The following special characters can be used in respellings:
.Used between two vowels to indicate that they do not form a digraph (i.e. long vowel or diphthong).'Used after palatalised consonants."Used after weakly palatalised consonants.-Used between parts of a compound word.*Shifts primary stress (initial by default) to the following syllable./Used after a consonant that will not geminate under regular secondary gemination or in the middle of a long vowel that should not be reduced to a short vowel (and which should not cause gemination).#Represents a syllable that should be unstressed (e.g. case endings).iïRepresents an /ij/ (e.g. in plural stems).
The template generates pronunciations in the Luutsa (Luuditsa) and Liivtšülä dialects, which are near identical (and serve as the main dialects of the written language). Additional dialects can be enabled by passing parameters:

These parameters can be numbered to supply multiple respellings, e.g. {{vot-p|J1=foo|J2=bar}}. To explicitly disable a dialect, supply - as the parameter. To explicitly enable a dialect and use numbered parameters, supply +. For example, the following will enable the numbered pronunciations in Luutsa and Jõgõperä only: {{vot-p|word|J=+|Li=-}}. To disable the default dialects (Luutsa-Liivtšülä) and only display dialects explicitly specified, pass |dial=1.
