What is the justification for dating it October 1845 – June 1846? Unless there is an earlier copyright date (which obviously there isn't for a book this old), I would say we should use the date of first publication. Ƿidsiþ 07:39, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Usually I put this if the work originally appeared in serialized form, but judging from “w:Wuthering Heights” it looks like in this case I just provided the period over which the work was written because it was stated in the Wikipedia article.
