@Notusbutthem: the point is to make it simple: just indicate the page number and the template figures out the rest. It’s a good practice to actually check whether a quotation is from the work. On multiple occasions I’ve found wrongly worded and incorrectly attributed quotations. Just yesterday I found that a quotation supposedly from Francis Bacon’s Apophthegmes (1625) was actually from a posthumous collection of his works. — SGconlaw (talk) 04:14, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
