@Hundwine Alternative forms

[edit]

I think it's good to have the alternative forms such as mec, uncit and so on in the table, as is done for many other languages. If they are dialectal or rare they can be marked as such. ᛙᛆᚱᛐᛁᚿᛌᛆᛌProto-NorsingAsk me anything 14:22, 16 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't think so. The Old English content on wiktionary is otherwise almost entirely standardized to West Saxon, which is also the practice of every other dictionary that I know of. I don't get the point of randomly including Anglian forms, on this declension table specifically, especially since at some point certain forms have to be excluded (for instance, nobody wants heora changed to heora, hiora, hiera, hira, hyra, hera), so we would be exchanging one form of favoritism for another. Better to keep it simple and not clutter up a table that is already sprawling with different forms. Hundwine (talk) 23:40, 16 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
