Deletion debate[edit]
The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process.
It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.
One of the most ridiculous templates I've ever seen (can beat {{form}}
mind you). Very strong delete. Mglovesfun (talk) 11:56, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- Delete. It has been rendered superfluous by the recent extension of
{{sk-noun}}
(diff). An example of how template:decpat can be replaced with template:sk-noun: diff. --Dan Polansky 12:10, 16 April 2011 (UTC)- It's superfluous to writing the words "declension pattern", plus it categorizing in Category:Slovak nouns. That of course means it can't be used anywhere else but Slovak nouns, not even Slovak proper nouns! Mglovesfun (talk) 17:44, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- You are right: the template was unneeded already before the extension. For ease of reference, here is the code of the template:
(''declension pattern''):{{#ifeq:{{NAMESPACE}}||[[Category:Slovak nouns]]}}
. --Dan Polansky 08:52, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

Failed per consensus. The template should be orphaned and deleted. I recommend using subst:
in the process of doing that. --Daniel. 18:51, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
