This template is only a redirect to Template:fr-adj-mf, and there aren't any entries now that link to it. Should it be deleted? Pharamp 09:54, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes in this case, although our redirect rules only apply to the main space, not to appendices and templates. But since this one is unusued, I wouldn't want to encourage people using "wrong" templates, plus I suspect that the serve takes a bit longer to load the page when it uses template redirects. Can anyone such as Conrad confirm this? Mglovesfun (talk) 12:06, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can disconfirm that. Wikipages are not assembled when they're served, but rather, assembled versions are pre-cached until they get served. (This is why, after you update a template, it can take a while before you see the change in an entry.) However, if no one is using it, then it may be worth removing it for human reasons (for bot operators, editors using Special:PrefixIndex/Template:fr-, etc.). —RuakhTALK 13:53, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted as an unused redirect. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:18, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
