- A taxonomic superfamily within the order Squamata – some fossorial snakes, called blind snakes.
Usage notes
Sometimes excluded, the families being classified within Scolecophidia. Scolecophidia is also sometimes excluded (but not both). When both are used, Scolecophidia is monotypic.
