This is indeed an interesting one. As we know, words are often used out of context, but then over any given time period are accepted as homonyms’ or new words in absolute, like ‘Gay’ & ‘Doph!’ and the most recent example I can think of is 'Bling' !!!! Where did that one come from? I actually can answer that: The urban, US hip-hop music collective, that's where; "Give that s*&t some bling...." "Is bling you thing?" “I got me some bling” and so on.

But I'm here to talk about Entropy or, Entropic. This word is recognised in many fields primarily in chemistry, specifically, thermodynamics whereby in short, it refers to the state of a chemical or potential chemical reaction (that's a totally over-simplified explanation; go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropy_%28disambiguation%29 for a good one).

I work in advertising as a copywriter and it's very accepted (I don't know why...) that if we don't have a word or can't think of one to describe and assist in our communiqué, we just make a word up!! Rule 101 in advertising is the less words the better. In headlines and in body copy, TVC’s, etc. People don't want to spend their time reading or listening to ads so we have to GRAB their attention and make them relevant to the audience).

For many years both I and other friends have used 'entropic' as a definition of an “…An individual who's mind is very confused internally. They are clearly struggling to cope with the ability to work through a problem of sorts…”. We would say "The person who wrote this phrase has displayed a very entropic commentary on the matter...". Meaning, they have most of the facts in there response, but they're not by any means well-presented or easy, for another individual to understand. In a similar way, you could have an entropic scenario or situation or event. All using the same notion of ‘internal confusion’ within a mind or between entities, etc. (Am I being entropic at the moment??!!!!! Oops, the perfect paradox...)

I've never posted something here before so I don't know what is to become of my rambling, but I do hope it is well-considered rather than quickly dismissed.
