About me

I'm Kavindad1. Born in New Jersey, I moved throughout Connecticut, Vermont, and Pennsylvania before settling down in California. I am a graduate of Penn State, the Ludwig-Maximillians-Universität München, and the Universiteit Leiden.

My background is in Historical and Comparative Indo-European Linguistics and my doctoral research focused on the prehistoric loanword lexicon of Latin. Besides the languages in my Babel box, I have also had the opportunity to dabble in:
