Greetings[edit]

Hello, welcome to my page! I am still a little unfamiliar with some Wikipedia and Wiktionary subtilities (including the Lua language!), but I'm very enthusiastic about being part of these projects :)

Me, myself and I[edit]

I am a linguistics PhD student and a teacher of French, Latin and Greek. I am currently mostly specialised in Indo-European and Japanese linguistics.

In the Wikimedia projects, my interests mostly lie in languages, historical linguistics and language comparison, but I occasionally also like to read about other various topics, such as natural sciences, history, geography, philosophy, and so on.

As a native speaker of French, and a second-language speaker of many other languages including English, I hope I can help make knowledge more accessible, especially in such a specialised field as linguistics.

My last contribution:[edit]

As I recently started reading about various minority languages of Russia, I decided to add some vocabulary words on the Wiktionary when I noticed that they were lacking. Thus, my last contributions dealt with Nivkh, Selkup, Enets and Nenets. I earlier also contributed in Japanese, Tok Pisin, Turkic languages and Indo-European languages.

My current contributions:[edit]

I will try to keep adding vocabulary on the same basis on the various languages I'll be reading about, which in the coming weeks should include Bakhtiari, Japanese, Ainu, Yenisseian languages, as well as other languages.

Disclaimer[edit]

If you see any mistake or imprecision in something I wrote (even something very trivial, such as a grammatical error or a typo), please never hesitate to point it out to me and to help me fix it: this would be very valuable to me as well as to the entire community!
