Hello everyone. I'm Spiral III, (self-proclaimed) queen regnant of Somewhere. Something like that, anyway. I'm very new to Wiktionary, and still trying to sort out how everything works. I started reading Wikipedia a few years ago, and recently signed up for an account there and began to edit a little bit. That's when I discovered all of Wikimedia's other projects, including this one. Well, I've always been rather interested in language, so I'm quite enthusiastic about the project. I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute to the substance here, but I will be using the wiktionary and, as I go, I'll at the very least try to plug any holes, fix any typos, and clean up any vandalism I come accross.

Languages[edit]
Currently I only speak English, but I have an interest in learning other languages. Specifically I am interested in German, French, and Latin. Actually, I am planning to see how well the wiktionary will work as aids to learning these and possibly other languages. The hope is that as I'm filling in the gaps of my own knowledge, that I can also fill in the gaps in the collective knowledge of the wiktionary.
Availability[edit]
I might log in to Wiktionary frequently for a while, but I must admit to having a short attention span and a vast number of eclectic interests (one reason I was attracted to first Wikipedia and then the entire Wikimedia enterprise). It is quite likely that at any given moment I will be away from the wiktionary. If you really need to get in touch with me, and I haven't responded to a message on my talk page, you may want to drop a note on my talk page at Wikipedia, as it is likely that I will be spending more time there than here. Alternatively, you can e-mail me using Mediawiki's e-mail feature. I don't check my e-mail very often, but as long as I am active on any Wikimedia project I will try to check my e-mail every week or two.
Queen Spiral on other Wikimedia projects[edit]
I came to know Wiktionary from my time on Wikipedia (though truthfully I'm also sort of new to there as well). Actually, I have a strong interest in all of the Wikimedia projects, and plan to contribute to any of them that I feel I can. I will link to my user pages on other projects here.
