Hi, I'm Shelkovitsa (named after the шелковица (šelkovica, mulberry)). I am 23 years old, live in the United States, and go by she/her pronouns. I have ADHD, so I tend to get really into what I'm doing, often losing track of the hours.

Tone indicators – such as /j, /srs, and /gen – are extremely helpful and appreciated when chatting with me.

My Idiolect

[edit]
  • horsehoarse, hurryfurry, Marymarrymerry, cotcaught mergers
  • route is /ɹut/ (especially when referring to the original highways in the United States Numbered Highway System, like /ɹut/ 66), but I'll occasionally say /ɹaʊt/ ("Let's take this /ɹaʊt/.")
  • you're is /jɚ/, your is /joɹ/
  • our is /aʊɚ/
  • and other quirks that I will put here as I notice them
