I don't think the definition of metaphysics is aligned with the definition first mentioned, based on the works of Aristotle. Aristotle clearly uses the phrase to indicate the study of a subject after the part about physics, as in subjects that are non-physical. The official Wiktionary definition uses the phrase "to explain all that there is" which would clearly be the opposite of the way Aristotle uses the phrase, as in, *not* the study of how the world itself works, but instead, the study of *other* subjects... -Whitehatrasta 11/13/2016
