@Bhagadatta, AryamanA, could you please check their edits? As I have seen, they have added Arabic script and removed Devanagari script for Kashmiri words. May be the additions are not wrong, but how to deal with the removals? —inqilābī [inqilāb zindabād] 15:06, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Lbdñk: The Arabic script forms this IP has added all look legit. I'm sure this is the same person who has been creating poor and unsourced Proto-Dardic entries for more than a month now. I think I also saw a registered user who was changing Devanagari in Kashmiri entries to Arabic, always writing the same edit summary that the Arabic script was the official one for Kashmiri. I don't really remember the username.
- We can keep the Arabic script but add the Devanagari and Sharada script (if available) in the descendants section of the Sanskrit entries by using the sclb=1 parameter, as is done in this entry. -- Bhagadatta (talk) 15:28, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Bhagadatta, Lbdñk: The edits seem accurate, if perhaps politically charged. Devanagari is less standardized than Perso-Arabic for Kashmiri AFAIK so it's not the worst idea. I don't think we should be reconstructing Proto-Dardic (at least yet; we don't have a system for them) so I'm just going to delete all of those as they are unsourced and badly formatted. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करें • योगदान) 15:32, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
