I still find the current definition problematic. I want to remind you that this is a dictionary, and as such, I feel that adding how "elite" and "orthodox" a subcaste is, not only doesn't (necessarily) belong in a dictionary, it also creates a potential battleground for libelous people. If people want to explore the subject further, they are more than welcome to click on the Wikipedia link and read all about it. I am however willing to compromise: I'd accept "A Malayali Brahmin caste, native to the Indian state of Kerala."
