A belated welcome to Wiktionary! There's usually no need to format quotations other than directly beneath the sense they apply to: if your worry is (as your edit summary to groomzilla implies) that people won't see the quotations, as they're hidden by default, then that default hiding is an issue you should raise in the Beer parlour, since it is sitewide. (Surely you're not going to edit every entry now to remove quotations from beneath definitions! (And expect to be blocked from editing if you do.))​—msh210 (talk) 17:20, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
