Mass adding

Apologies, I don't have much experience editing Wiktionary, I'm more active on Wikipedia. Why are translations from other Wikipedia websites not allowed? Are those not approved by the fact that they are used on a language's Wikipedia? I don't mean to be combative, just genuinely curious. SVS Shadow (talk) 15:55, 16 April 2024 (UTC)

Wikipedia is often wrought with protologisms. You should check WT:CFI and WT:Wikipedians' guide to Wiktionary. Vininn126 (talk) 15:58, 16 April 2024 (UTC)

It's not just protologisms, but you may be missing grammatical aspects of languages you do not know, such as mistakenly adding a non-lemma form just because it is used in a title or some article. — SURJECTION ^{/ T / C / L /} 17:48, 16 April 2024 (UTC)

They can be, as per our CFI, we need example quotes, and the Bible is examples of usage. One thing to keep in mind is we have different criteria for individuals, and most are not included. Vininn126 (talk) 18:05, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
