Hi, can you be more vast in your details while still keeping it simple? I'm confused about the Czech lemma part and language code, I looked at what lemma means for Wiktionary and it's still confusing me. I also don't fully know the rules to this site, so apologies for those mistakes, will try to make sure it doesn't occur again. SahdOnWikitionary (talk) 05:46, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

I just got around to this again, realized what it meant. Although, I do believe a non-expiring ban is a little harsh, given I was:

- new to the site

- didn't understand what you were making me aware of

- also didn't see your talkpage note until a day later, after I was already permbanned

It could just be me on this decision, given the person banned possibly has bias to themself, but I believe something like a week ban with the ban reason giving the actual reason to the ban, rather than a vague note as to the wrongful activity, would've been better suited, as at that time, I would've been logging on about daily to see what's new to Wiktionary, and would see the notice when making a new page/edit.

It's been about 4 months since the ban, and I since have learnt my lesson on miscategorizing lemmas, and false entries. I have read over the rules to the site, abide to follow by them, and have since decided to only be editing on the language I know best, English. During the time, I even reviewed my very own entries from other languages I had made, and found many to be inaccurate, such as bonolo actually being a noun meaning 'ease', not simple as in an adjective.

Obviously, this probably won't reach to you, thus, I will maybe contact you (or another admin?) directly at a future time to see if there's any way to lift the permanent ban. SahdOnWikitionary (talk) 04:59, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

If you have truly read up on everything and are willing to slow down, listen more quickly to suggestions that are being made, then sure. My initial problem was you were editing at such a speech making so many mistakes that it was difficult to keep up with you and clean everything. There's a huge learning curve, so in the beginning it's best to go slow, and also you need to look at other entries, especially in the language you are editing in, and see what kinds of things are done, etc. Things like providing sources such as quotes and links to dictionaries are also important. It seems you are of good faith, so if you've also improved on not making a mess, I can unban you and monitor you. Vininn126 (talk) 08:52, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

I've taken note of how entries on English work, as during the time I've been banned, I would also frequently frequent (what a phrase) here and look at English entry sources, as I also wanted to understand how entries were set up to be. I also, during that time, went over and found terms that are actually accounted for, featured in online dictionaries, quotes, etc. I don't want to have my first look be of bad faith, so I'm willing to abide by any terms set.
