Wiktionary redirect preferences[edit]

Also, I see that you have come to us from Wikipedia. Please be advised that some policies and preferences are different here than there. In particular, we discourage the creation of redirects, and instead have separate full pages for alternative spellings of words, if those spellings are relatively common.

Dear EncycloPetey,
        I apologize if the redirects are not the preferred practice in Wiktionary, and would have no objection if you wanted to set up the information in the preferred manner. Also, if you might be able to point me to an example of this, with an explanation, then I would certainly be willing to set up the definition accordinlgy. Thanks for the welcome and the advice.
