ne point, ne ... point[edit]

We avoid redirects like this, because it is possible that another language has an idiomatic expression spelt the same. — Ungoliant (Falai) 10:40, 28 October 2013 (UTC)

Still, isn't it better to have a redirect, than as it is now - nothing? Wouldn't it at the very least make sense to have some kind of soft redirect, referring to the place where the expression is defined? Skalman (talk) 14:46, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
Yes; I would have done that but I don’t know the part of speech and whatnot. — Ungoliant (Falai) 14:48, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
At the Swedish language Wiktionary we have a template "no entry" which we use instead of {{also}} for titles which for one or other reason don't have any entries. We use it for misspellings and other soft redirects.
Anyway - in this case I'd say that "ne ... point" is an adverb construction. (But en-wikt doesn't have the much more common construction "ne ... pas", so maybe it should be done) Skalman (talk) 15:14, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
