Hi, please do not always use the {{m}} template when referring to Sanskrit words in non-Sanskrit entries. If you are adding a descendant, use {{desc}}, and use {{cog}} for cognates or {{noncog}} when referring to words that are not related. {{m}} is for languages already mentioned in a sentence.

Also, before adding cognates, check if they are really cognates. There are often false cognates which appear similar, but are actually not related due to well-established sound changes that could not yield cognates. Prahlad balaji (talk) 18:31, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
