Jewsrael[edit]

Hi. I understand your nomination was good faith. WT:CFI sets out of a couple of key principles. In this case, 'attested' means "use in permanently recorded media, conveying meaning, in at least three independent instances spanning at least a year". It doesn't have to be 'notable' media because human language isn't only used by professional authors, journalists and whatnot. However things like facebook and YouTube aren't considered permanent because posts/videos are permanently recorded. I hope this helps. Renard Migrant (talk) 15:12, 24 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ok, thanks. My intuition here was that this hadn't really cross the threshold, and especially when the intention is to be derogatory, there has to be some momentum to a word. Some assholes can't just invent a new word, like "Wikishits", use it on a handful of forums, and get it into Wiktionary. I'm not sure where the abundance of usage is that you cite. That said, I am a Wikitionary outsider. I noticed that someone (maybe you) edited Jewsreal to be purely defamatory, and not comedic, which at least is more accurate.
