[edit]The term Bryophyta (note capitalization) is not etymologically related to the term non-vascular plant. Wiktionary is a dictionary, and focusses primarily on the words, not the concepts. - Also Bryophyta is not a synonym, since (first) it is not an Egnlish word but a taxonomic name and (second) there are other non-vascular plants besides the bryophytes. --EncycloPetey 18:53, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
