- A Gaulish name, notably borne by a chief of the Aedui and a chief of the Gaesatae
- Tum Mārcellus cum parvā manū equitum dīmicāvit et rēgem Gallōrum, Viridomārum nōmine, manū suā occīdit.
- Then Marcellus with little cavalry fought also the Gaulish king named Viridomarus and killed him by his own hand.
