Replace AHD[edit]

  • Voting on: Replacing the name of our AHD pronunciation system with a new initialism. We have already had a preliminary vote suggesting that the initialism AHD may be misleading, but there was support for its continued use as being recognizable. This is part one of the run-off vote. This vote will determine whether we replace the current name AHD with a new one. If this proposal to change the name is accepted, the replacement name will be decided in the second part of the run-off (below).

Oppose[edit]

Retain the AHD initialism
  1. Oppose DAVilla 18:21, 19 February 2007 (UTC) I don't think we should be inventing acronyms that aren't understood outside of this small community. I'm all for change, but not to some new unknown initialism![reply]

Abstain[edit]

  1. Abstain H. (talk) 15:53, 19 February 2007 (UTC) I’m not a fan of the AHD system anyway, so don’t really care. As long as I know how to format it :-)[reply]
