This vote was started prematurely, which is most likely why it failed. Announce the intention of seeking the bot flag in the Beer parlour, say what the bot will do, reveal the source code to be used by the bot, run a bunch of edits, fix errors, run a bunch more edits, fix more errors, repeat until error-free, and run a few more edits to show off the quality of the bot. The whole time, keep announcing what you're doing in that Beer parlour discussion, so people keep abreast and comment, and so you can see if there is objection to your bot (so you can stop spending time on it if it looks as though the vote will fail). Hmm. It just uses pywikipedia [1] and I fixed the errors it had, removing en: links. I still wait for that 2 people to change their votes, after I clarified all of this. :) --Diego Grez 20:38, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
